Sources say that royal Challengers Bangalore Rcb IPL team linked to Virat Kohli and the exciting atmosphere of M Chinnaswamy Stadium, probably won’t be back at the famous home and any time soon because of the recent Stampede. The team is close to picking a new home field for upcoming IPL seasons because safety is a big worry.

Since the IPL started in 2009 m Chinnaswamy Stadium has been Rcb’s stronghold. It’s Wear Kohli scored many amazing centuries and Wear AB Devillers had some incredible finishes. But the stadium has often had problems with managing crowds because its in the city centre, has few entry points and has narrow roads leading to it.

What happened during the Stampede?

The latest problem happened when a big crowd gathered near the stadium for a team event that was not match. Reports say that poor crowd control, not enough barriers and bad traffic management cost panic and some fans were hurt. No one died, but the incident made people wonder if the stadium is ready to safely handle big events.

After the incident, local officials and the Karnataka State Cricket Association, KSCA were criticised for not planning and carrying things out well. The state government then ordered a close look at the stadium safety planning, including how people enter and exit parking and how to respond to emergencies.
