Star batter of Indian women cricket team Jemimah Rodrigues who played a memorable inning which was a match winning performance against Australia in the women's World Cup semi-final match. They confirmed their seat in the finals too. After winning the match, Jemimah shared her thoughts about the turning point of the match and disclosed how the ideas of captain Harmanpreet Kaur actually helped her to refocus and guide the team to the victory. 

Jemimah also said that when the captain Harmanpreet got out, it became a very big shock for her and for the entire team also. As she is one of the most experienced players and always handles pressurized situations easily with her calmness. However Jemimah made that movement come as a challenge instead of losing hope.

She said: “Harman’s wicket was a blessing in disguise. It made me realize that now I have to take responsibility and finish the game for India.”

She said that she was not fully focused even though she had been batting well. Then suddenly we made her stop, think and settle her mind again to the game. As she added with a smile that “I told myself that I have to stay till the end. India needs someone to anchor the earnings and that person has to be me.”

The inning was wonderful with the control aggression, smart running, and perfect timing. She scored a brilliant century, helping India to chase the giant target and make it happen to win the match with five wickets. Her knock was full of confidence, maturity and self believiness. Showing how much she has grown as a player. 

After the match, many fans and cricket experts appreciate her for how beautifully she handled the situation. And the captain appreciated all her teammates's efforts, saying that Jemimah showed real character and played like a champion.

Now, with this victory India entered into the finals, and the century of Jemimah Will be always remembered as one of the most inspiring inning in Indian women’s cricket history. Her words remind everyone that sometimes setbacks can become an opportunity, if faced with the right mindset!
